About APMOSS 2027
The Asian Society for Poly-Endocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome convenes its first annual congress to align PMOS care across Asia.
Why an Asian paradigm
Poly-Endocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) is the primary aetiology of anovulatory infertility, severe metabolic disruption and accelerated cardiometabolic disease across the Asia-Pacific region.
Compared with Western cohorts, Asian women show marked visceral adiposity at lower BMI thresholds, pronounced hyperinsulinaemia, altered follicular responsiveness and heightened susceptibility to OHSS.
- Harmonise diagnostic thresholds using age-adjusted AMH nomograms across Asian phenotypes
- Optimise non-ART ovulation induction: letrozole, metformin, surgical diathermy
- Implement personalised stimulation (follitropin delta, HP-hMG) and zero-OHSS algorithms
- The 2027 Asian Clinical Consensus on Infertility & ART via modified Delphi voting
- A 12-nation longitudinal Asian PMOS Registry
- Consensus statement in an indexed Q1 REI journal
Asian PMOS Society, in official collaboration with the REI Committee of AOFOG and supported by POGI as host society.
